Veridt's CombiSmart Reader Now with Dynamic Read Capability for All
Protocols

Veridt, a leading provider of applied biometric technology announced
today that its CombiSmart integrated biometric reader is now capable of
reading multiple card formats dynamically. Importantly, Veridt's reader
not only recognizes legacy cards formats such as GSC-IS, but also FIPS
201 (CHUID Transparent protocols), DOD CAC including the most recent release
of CAC version 2.2 and TWIC PIV2. This is the first reader to achieve
this comprehensive interoperability.
Veridt designs, develops and markets integrated reader products and software
combining fingerprint biometrics and applied technologies for enterprise
applications, and physical/logical access security requirements. Applied
technologies combined with fingerprint biometrics include smart card technologies,
other data storage forms, specialized software and applications specific
