Veridt TSA TWIC Qualified Readers
Middleton, Wisconsin (October 8, 2008)—The Transportation Safety Administration and the US Coast Guard announced today that Veridt readers have successfully completed the evaluation process as part of the Initial Capabilities Evaluation (ICE) in conjunction with the Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC) reader testing program. Two readers passed the TWIC-compliant testing: one uses a contact card read interface and biometric and the other uses the contactless card read interface and biometric.
