Veridt designs intelligent credential reader solutions for physical access control systems which offer enhanced security to the military, government agencies and the private sector. Veridt’s products combine fingerprint biometrics and a comprehensive array of functionality using multi-technology, multi-format configurations for multi-factor authentication and validation. Veridt products use multiple communication protocols for enhanced security in both fixed and handheld wireless formats.

Veridt has been designing applied biometric technology since 1999 for government and private sector security applications. The Veridt product lines include CombiSmart™, GuardDog™, MultiMode™ and MobileGate™ credential readers for access control. They are compatible for use with a broad array of credentials: those utilizing GSC-IS compliant container as well as open standards based on ISO 14443 A/B and ISO 7816, FIPS201 compliant solutions for PIV, PIV-I, CAC, CAC-PIV, and TSA TWIC mandated by HSPD-12.
