The MultiMode Credential Reader Family can be configured with a native command set to support comprehensive array of features and functionality when used in conjunction with ActivIdentity FIPS 201 access control sSolutions.

These access control solutions enable compliance with HSPD-12 and adherence to NIST’s FIPS 201 standard and relevant Special Publications including best practices SP 800-116.

This unique approach provides for card validation and user authentication locally and is operable without networked connectivity.

The ActivIdentity FIPS 201 Suite of products permits government agencies, both defense and intelligence as well as civilian, to fulfill the requirements of HSPD-12 and FIPS 201, and fully integrate the DoD’s CAC cards and the newly issued PIV credentials for both fixed and mobile access control.
