Veridt's CombiSmart reads multiple card formats, including:

  • Veridt Biometric Access Control Template
  • GSC-IS compliant containers
  • PIV
  • TWIC
  • CAC cards
  • Any data model based ISO 7816

As with other Veridt readers, this unit can be readily configured for Multi-factor Authentication for Card only, Card + PIN, Card + Biometric or Card + PIN+ Biometric. Additionally, in Multimode operation, the reader is easily configured to dynamically recognize multiple card formats for legacy, local, and government requirements.

The reader can be configured with or without a keypad and includes all required interface capabilities. A digital display is standard for guiding the user in the verification process. CombiSmart is FIPS 201 certified and TSA ICE Qualified.
